Well, you can, but if you’re the machine that programs most commercial radio stations today — and if you are, how are you reading this? — you’ve probably already been told not to, because there are people out there who will complain given the slightest provocation, and some of these are pretty darn slight. In an effort to convey this sort of discomfort, I swiped a cigarette ad (DuMaurier, if you care) and painted the actual cancer stick out of the scene.
