As predicted

22 December 2005

From a few months back:

This site is not in any way related to wendex.com, which is owned by someone who hopes to sell the domain, perhaps to me.

Today they made me an offer: $99.95. I don’t know whether I should be pleased or insulted.

Everybody Must Get Stones

4 December 2005

At some point I must have decided that I needed a single-disc Rolling Stones compilation, and this is it. About half these tracks are in mono, either because that’s all there is or because I thought it sounded better than the stereo. (I don’t think there’s ever going to be a really good-sounding “Have You Seen Your Mother Baby.”) David Osborne took the cover photo at Boulder Rock in Western Australia.

Cover art, Wendex 111108-2Track listing for 111108-2 (all tracks by The Rolling Stones):

  1. I Wanna Be Your Man
  2. Not Fade Away
  3. It’s All Over Now
