Superlong 2

Nine tracks, no more, and the shortest is a bit over six minutes. I’m not quite sure about this cover photo, which seems to have originated with a Eurodesign house.

Been There, Seen That

The motivation here came from Glen Campbell, who put out rather a lot of songs name-checking cities and places; I figured it wouldn’t be too hard to come up with a CD full without having to resort to, say, the Doors’ endless “L.A. Woman,” which would be a bit much. The cover is an old, out-of-date map of metropolitan Oklahoma City, overlaid with cutesy freeway signs made with Kurumi’s SignMaker. Bonus points if you can figure out the sequencing.

Cover art, Wendex 111104-2Track listing for 111104-2:

  1. Dave Loggins: Please Come to Boston
  2. Patti Page: Old Cape Cod
  3. Freddy Cannon: Palisades Park

  10. Harpers Bizarre: Chattanooga Choo-Choo
  11. Johnny Rivers: Memphis
  12. The Beach Boys: Susie Cincinnati
  13. Bobby Bare: Detroit City
